Erica T. Yitzhak, Esq.
Erica Yitzhak is the Managing Attorney of the Yitzhak Law Group. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and a minor in Business from Washington University in St. Louis in 1996. After completing her undergraduate studies, Erica enrolled at Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York City to pursue her dream of earning a Juris Doctor. Erica received her Doctorate of Law upon graduation from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 1999. She was admitted to the Bar in the State of New York in 2002. Erica was a sole practitioner until she started her eponymous law firm, The Yitzhak Law Group in 2012.
With 18 years of practice, and more to come - Erica Yitzhak has federal admission in the Eastern and Southern Districts in New York. She was awarded in 2018, 2019, and 2020, with the Lawyers of Distinction Award, and has been ranked as one of the 10 Best Female Attorneys in New York for Client Satisfaction by the American Institute of Family Law Attorneys. Erica is a member of both the Nassau County Bar Association and of the New York State Bar Association.
Ashana Nandram, Esq.
Ashana Nandram is an Associate Attorney with the Yitzhak Law Group, where she specializes in Matrimonial, Family, and Immigration matters. Ashana graduated with a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Chemistry from Queens College. Upon the completion of her Master’s degree, Ashana became a Chemistry Adjunct Lecturer at SUNY Maritime College and St John’s University, in addition to being a Teaching Assistant at Queens College. She moved on to become the Instructional Support Associate for the Science Department at SUNY Maritime College.
Ashana attended the evening program at St. John’s University, School of Law, while working full time at SUNY Maritime College. In 2017, Ashana was awarded the Hon. Giles S. Rich Diversity Scholarship. After graduating law school, she worked as a Law Clerk at an Immigration Firm on Long Island and as an Associate Attorney at a general practice firm in Queens. After being admitted to the New York Bar in October of 2019, Ashana completed the New York State Unified Court System Approved Mediation Training at the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University and received her certification in Advanced Matrimonial Mediation Training with Stalder Mediation.
William H. Trizano, Esq.
William Trizano graduated from Drexel University's Thomas R. Kline School of Law with a concentration in Business Entrepreneurship in 2020, following the completion of his bachelor's degree in Political Science from Franklin and Marshall College in 2017.
After working with the Westchester County Supreme Court in New York as a Judicial Intern, William found his way to an internship position at the Yitzhak Law Group. William was admitted to the bar in summer of 2021, and is now a full-time associate attorney at the Yitzhak Law Group. William works diligently to expand his legal expertise, focusing on commercial and residential real estate litigation, landlord-tenant litigation, foreclosure litigation, contract law, matrimonial and family law, and corporate law.

Eric Butkiewicz has a background in startups having founded the news website, EB Media, and ed-tech startup C~Flow. Eric also founded Doxa, an organization dedicated to fostering a community that utilizes public discourse to inform millennials on politics, local issues, and new ideas. Doxa was a reflection of Eric's passion for public service and community advocacy. This passion led him to run for NYS State Assembly and later become a member of his local Community Board in Queens, NY.
Eric graduated from Baruch College in 2017 receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Affairs with minors in Political Science and History. Eric recently received his Juris Doctor from St. John's University School of Law and sat for the July 2021 Uniform Bar Exam for New York Admission. Eric joined the The Yitzhak Law Group in October of 2021 and is excited to begin his law career at the firm once admitted to practice in New York.
Jenine Sumpter is the Paralegal at the Yitzhak Law Group. After attending Brooklyn College in 2003, Jenine accumulated extensive experience working in small law firms. In January of 2017, she began her employment at the Yitzhak Law Group, receiving her Notary Public License that same year. Jenine efficiently oversees all of the office administration and paralegal duties for the Yitzhak Law Group, as well as assists with the firm's real estate transactions. Jenine productively interacts with clients and attorneys in order to effectively handle client matters to the best of her ability, thus skillfully reflecting the Yitzhak Law Group's customer satisfaction promise. She is currently studying to receive her Real Estate License, so that she may successfully extend her legal expertise into the real estate market.
Receptionist and Legal Assistant
Nikima Seetahal is the Receptionist and Legal Assistant at the Yitzhak Law Group. Nikima worked as an Accountant at the Regional Democratic Council in Guyana, where she was responsible for the bookkeeping, payroll, and Government Revenue and bank reconciliation. In 2012, Nikima transitioned to her position as a Supervisor for Compass Group, located out of JFK Airport Terminal 7. In 2021, Nikima obtained her Real Estate License and is a licensed Real Estate Agent with Exit Prime Realty. These positions allowed for Nikima to cultivate her customer service skills, proving her as a highly skilled multi-tasker and team player. Nikima translates her proficiency in employee and client satisfaction into her role as the Receptionist and Legal Assistant with the Yitzhak Law Group, as she interacts with both clients and attorneys to proactively meet their needs. Her positive attitude and dedicated communication skills are a fantastic assurance to our client satisfaction promise.
Director of Information and Technology
Rebecca Nasibi is the Director of Information and Technology at the Yitzhak Law Group. Her position requires her to maintain client relations, manage the firm's social media, and creatively direct all website design, company branding, and overall aesthetic design. Rebecca assists in the firm's administrative and legal matters, while proactively supporting attorney and client needs. Rebecca graduated from Binghamton University with a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design.
Immediately post graduation, Rebecca was hired as the lead social media producer for a startup media website, allowing her to cultivate and sharpen her skills proficiently. In April of 2019, Rebecca moved on to her position at the Yitzhak Law Group, where she redesigned the branding for the law firm using her graphic design and marketing experience. Rebecca also acts as the Creative Director for Erica's personal lifestyle and "mom-focused" brand, The Nanny Nightmares, which is in its early stages of production.
